INTRODUCTION

1. This is a prayer system - a sequence of prayer steps that leads to more comprehensive protection. It is important to be taking the correct steps in the correct sequence (like a telephone number).

2. This is to be done daily. The mercies of the Lord are renewed daily; the schemes of the evil one are renewed daily; our protection needs to be renewed daily. . . . Matt 6:13 (Everything in Our Lord's prayer - including "don't let temptation overwhelm us" and "deliver us from the evil one" - is to be seen as a daily request.)

3. For some of you this may be familiar; for some of you it may be new. Look at this material to see if there is anything in it that would improve your protection gameplan.

4. This is like the system I use. You'll notice that it involves both prayers (where we ask our Lord to supply us with His help) and commands (where we use the authority He gives us as believers to bind and loose things . . .). Prayers can be done inside or outside your head; commands are best done out loud (but quietly) e.g. under your breath. . .

5. There is a bigger need to use this system if you are in leadership or doing frontline ministry.

6. This is necessary preparation for doing listening prayer - since shutting down intrusion from the kingdom of darkness is a prerequisite to hearing from God. Protection is sometimes an end in itself; often it is a means to help us draw close to the Lord (James 4:7,8).

Establish spiritual boundaries that protect self/family/property.

1. Define what is "yours" (i.e. your property, possessions, people under your spiritual protection, your areas of spiritual control). Lord Jesus, I put the following under Your jurisdiction, now. . .

my house and property

my office/spare room/waiting room

my family [each person named specifically] and myself

my car

my profession

my ministries

2. Commit all on the list to God

Lord Jesus, I commit everything on this list to You. I give it into your care, now.

3. Ask God for angels (Heb 1:14) to protect everything on the list from the kingdom of darkness and harm.

Lord Jesus, please send angels, now, to protect everything under your jurisdiction. I ask that You would send angels up to and including the principality and power levels (and beyond if necessary) to be around these environments and people. I ask that You would commission and deploy, and cover and reinforce and equip these angels so that nothing from the kingdom of darkness can intrude on us. Please enable these angels to remove any beings - individuals or groups - that are or will be astral traveling around us.

Lord Jesus, if any reinforcements for the angels involved are needed, please send them now; if any have been hurt, please have them taken care of.

Lord Jesus, please provide a container - if needed - that will suck all beings from the kingdom of darkness into it (and hold them until removal), should their numbers quickly increase.

4. Ask for God's provisions.

Lord Jesus,

Thank You for supplying me with armor - I put it on now - by faith. Please make it complete and sufficient for whatever I will face today.

Holy Spirit,Please quicken my mind so that I can be sensitive to what You want me to know or do today. I want to be in harmony with Your will for my life, today.

5. Ask the Lord to turn evil intent to good.

Lord Jesus Christ, please

a. turn the evil intent of everything from the kingdom of darkness to good - as it relates to those of us under Your jurisdiction.

b. make all interactions between anything from the kingdom of darkness and those of us under Your jurisdiction work together to further Your kingdom.

6. Command that everything from the kingdom of darkness be bound.

I command, in the power and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, that anything from the kingdom of darkness wanting any form of involvement with me/mine be

a. stripped of all your armor, now

b. able to carry out only the functions assigned to you by God

c. able to carry out only the functions that God allows you to have to further His purposes.

7. Ask for a hedge of light and fire. Establishing this hedge of light and fire can be done

a. via prayer (if this is new territory for you) or

b. via command (if you have equipment for wielding spiritual authority)

aa. Lord Jesus, I ask that You would place now a hedge of light and fire around and over and under [this place] so that this environment (and those of us in this environment) are encased in Your presence and holiness. I also ask that this hedge make a barrier that would keep everything from the kingdom of darkness outside and unable to come in or to see in or to hear in. I also ask that this hedge would trap everything from the kingdom of darkness that is already here inside - until they are dealt with by You, Lord Jesus.

bb. Lord Jesus, I command now, by the power and authority that You give me, that a hedge of light and fire be placed around and over and under [this place] so that this environment (and those of us in this environment) are encased in Your presence and holiness. I also command that this hedge make a barrier that will keep everything from the kingdom of darkness outside and unable to come in or to see in or to hear in. I also command that this hedge trap everything from the kingdom of darkness that is already here inside - until they are dealt with by You, Lord Jesus.

B. Confession.

[Briefly listen to what He says to you . . . ]

Follow these steps to deal with anything that He brings to mind:

a. Lord Jesus, I confess to you . . .

b. I renounce and turn away from . . . now

c. I receive Your forgiveness and cleansing now, on the basis of Your promise to me in I John 1:9

d. Thank you, Jesus, that Your blood covers this sin.

e. (if necessary) I will take these steps . . . to promote reconciliation and/or restitution . . .

C. Revelations of evil.

1. Ask the Lord to reveal and deal with any curses, pacts, oaths, covenants, incantations, hexes or vexes that have been placed upon me/mine that need to be dealt with.

Lord Jesus, if there have been any curses or pacts or oaths or covenants or incantations or hexes or vexes put upon me/mine today, I

a. command in Your name and authority that they be made null and void now

b. ask, Lord, that You would send angels (and/or whatever else) to deal with them as You see fit. I put all such strategies and/or structures in Your hands to be dealt with as You see fit.

D. Clean up.

1. Command against anything intruding.

I command, in the power and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, that all opposing spiritual enemies and forces that try to intrude upon anyone or anything under Your jurisdiction, that they be

a. covered with the blood of the risen Lord Jesus Christ and

b. surrounded by the light and fire of His holiness - now!

2. Ask for God's blessing.

Lord Jesus Christ, I thank You for all the blessings of salvation that You have made available to me/mine. I ask that all blessings that You want us to receive or claim today be applied to us, now. I also ask that your blessings be upon everything from the kingdom of darkness that comes in contact with what has been put under Your jurisdiction (i.e. me/mine) so that those blessings will cancel out all curses that may be coming from the kingdom of darkness today.

3. Command for isolation.

I command, in the power and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, that anything from the kingdom of darkness trying to have any involvement with me/mine

a. be put into confusion, now

b. be separated now from all communication or connection you have with anything else from the kingdom of darkness - including all links, lines, paths or channels on all levels in the kingdom of darkness hierarchy.

4. Command for surrender.

I command, in the power and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, that anything from the kingdom of darkness trying to have any involvement with me/mine

a. surrender, now, to God's holy angels

b. be stripped, now, or all spiritual armor and unclean spirits

c. be stood aside from all functions

d. be in submission to the binding of God's holy angels for God's specified time (starting now, if it is His will).

E. Requests of God.

1. For final clean up.

Lord Jesus, I ask that you would gather (or have gathered) all remaining enemies - individuals, groups, spirit hybrids or whatever - and

a. strip them of all their armor

b. bind them and stand them aside from all their functions

c. deal with them, for today, as You see fit.

2. For reclaiming.

Lord Jesus, I ask that You would reclaim, clean and fill everything under Your jurisdiction with Your Holy Spirit and with the structures of the kingdom of light. I ask that everyone I've put under Your jurisdiction be filled with Your Spirit and, if any cleansing or healing needs to be done, You would do that. I ask that all connections between those of us under Your jurisdiction be established by Your structures and that these structures be clean and filled with Your light. I ask that, if any damage has been done to Your people or Your structures or Your property, You would repair and protect them, now.

3. For revelation.

Lord Jesus Christ, as I wait upon You now and do my best to listen to Your voice or the voice of Your Spirit, please

F. Final command.

I command, in the power and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, that all prayers and commands given here and now remain in effect until they are completely and totally obeyed and until everything from the kingdom of darkness is subjugated to the Lordship and direction of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit for this day.
